The conference call where Apple would announce the financial results for Q3 is all set to happen on July 24, 2012. Similar to previous year, there’s a probability that Mac OS X Mountain Lion availability would be announced on the same day. However, even if they do, it would be available on the other day for download on Mac App Store.
In WWDC 2012, Apple informed that the next iteration of Mac OS X Lion would hit in the form of an OTA update in July 2012. Although they didn’t provide a specific date, but it’s pretty much expected that Apple would follow the same schedule. Mac OS X Mountain Lion has 200 new features, out of which many have been driven from Apple’s mobile operating system such as Notification Center, iMessage, Notes etc.
The audio webcast of the conference call could be heard from this link. Needless to say, Mac OS X Mountain Lion would be available for purchase at a price point of $19.99. Are you excited for it? Stay tuned!
